  • Part time (0.5FTE), alternating between 3 days and 2 days every week, fixed term until 31 April 2025
  • Exciting job-share opportunity to join the Marketing and Communications team at the University of Sydney
  • Base Salary $95K pro rata + 17% superannuation 

About the opportunity

The Student Marketing Communications Officer supports the team in delivery and implementation of marketing initiatives and campaigns to support student recruitment and student experience goals. You will work in close collaboration with Marketing and Communications staff and key university stakeholders to ensure that marketing communication initiatives are integrated and brand aligned.  

About you

  • proficient in writing, editing and the production of collateral materials across multiple channels to engage with a range of audiences
  • collaborates with teams and across function to ensure that strategic goals are met
  • has background and exposure to the digital marketing landscape including content management, social media and using analytics within marketing and communications
  • experienced in developing and managing effective relationships with stakeholders across a large organisation
  • understands or has knowledge of the university student lifecycle and experience
  • has content management system experience, ideally within Adobe Experience Manager and Creative Suites
  • demonstrates high level oral and written communication, interpersonal, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. For a continuing position, you must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian Permanent Resident.

Australian Temporary Residents currently employed at the University of Sydney may be considered for a fixed term contract for the length of their visa, depending on the requirements of the hiring area and the reasons for the position.
