  • Remuneration package of $159K p.a., including 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation 

About the opportunity

The Senior Manager, Faculty Partnerships will be responsible for operational management of the Faculty Partnerships team in Sydney Future Students, including planning to effectively utilise the workforce and resources to meet the priorities and objectives of Sydney Future Students and faculties and schools. The role supports the Director of Faculty Partnerships and Recruitment Services through overseeing the service model, operational planning and budgets for the Faculty Partnerships team, and preparing reports as required for management groups and governance committees. 

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • provide senior operational advice and management support to the Director, Faculty Partnerships and Recruitment Services
  • provide operational and administrative management and effective financial management support
  • manage the efficient utilisation and deployment of resources for the Faculty Partnerships team and its related entities
  • implement governance and control and key compliance requirements

About you

  • excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with sound negotiating and conflict resolution skills and a demonstrated level of tact and discretion in dealing with a variety of matters 
  • extensive experience in the development and implementation of service charters and strategic initiatives 
  • proven understanding of faculty-based needs in managing recruitment and admissions 
  • proven management experience at a senior level; together with flexibility, capacity to adapt to changing circumstances and environments and, when necessary, navigating through ambiguity 
  • superior relationship management skills and capacity to manage competing needs of diverse stakeholders 
  • demonstrated experience in the supervision, training, mentoring and performance management of staff; and experience managing and resolving a diverse range of HR issues 
  • excellent written and oral communication skills including public speaking 
  • strong business acumen and operational management skills together with effective leadership and people management experience 
  • experience effectively managing a diverse group of key stakeholders on large or complex projects and the ability to develop/cultivate productive relationships with team members and key stakeholders.
