The Senior Analyst will lead the development and implementation of systematic approaches to data harvest, management and reporting in support of the work of the PVCI portfolio. This includes working closely with staff across the portfolio and University and providing detailed reports and analysis of data and market intelligence associated with the University’s international activities such as international student recruitment, student mobility, partnership development, research engagement, etc.

Salary: (HEO8) $95,493- $107,179 per annum.

Superannuation: An employer contribution of 17% may apply.

Term of position: This continuing position is available immediately.

Eligibility Criteria: Relevant Postgraduate/ Degree qualifications and relevant experience will be highly regarded.

Knowledge and Experience:

To be successful you will have:

  • significant experience in data analytics and reports utilising a variety of data extraction tools and techniques;
  • high level analytical skills and experience in interpreting large datasets and procedures to provide strategic advice, high-level written reports and practical and/or innovative solutions to complex problems;
  • demonstrated expertise in business analysis with extensive knowledge of international education markets and internationalisation issues within higher education;
  • high level administrative and organisational skills, including experience in the preparation of effective, accurate and appropriately detailed reports, briefings and correspondence.
