- Level 5, part-time (0.5FTE) appointment on a fixed term basis for 4 years
- Base salary range: $76,422 – $84,705 p.a. plus 17% superannuation

About the team
The School of Human Sciences is a large multidisciplinary school with research and teaching focused on better understanding what it is to be human, from our structure, function, development and genetics, to adaptation, performance and evolution.
The School is one of the largest in the University and makes a significant contribution to the BSc majors in Anatomy and Human Biology, Physiology, Neuroscience, Biomedical Science and Sports Science. The School also contributes to medical, dental and paramedical education in all tertiary institutions within Western Australia.
About the opportunity
As the appointee you will assist with research analyses and administration of a research program focused on the impact of environmental change on maternal and child health. In conjunction with working with a multidisciplinary team to generate research data, you will assist in the coordination and logistics of the research program.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will demonstrate:
- Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency in a Bachelor of Science or Biomedical Science (Honours)
- Relevant experience at an appropriate level in histology and physiology
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Highly developed organisational skills with the demonstrated ability to set priorities and to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently, show initiative, problem solve and work productively as part of a team
