Overview
The purpose of the Centre for Nursing, Midwifery and Health Services Research (CNMHSR) is to generate evidence through excellence in research that will inform clinical practice and improve outcomes for the global healthcare community.

The CNMHSR has three research groups:

  • Safety and Quality in Healthcare
  • Improving Outcomes for Adults with Chronic Health Conditions
  • Childbearing, Children and Young People

We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and highly motivated person to work on a Birthing on Country project in close collaboration with the team to assist and support academic staff in the areas of:

  • Preparation of Ethics applications;
  • Literature reviews;
  • Data collection and analysis (qualitative and quantitative); and
  • Contribution to reports       


The role will provide a great opportunity to learn under the mentorship of experienced researchers, and develop skills, knowledge and experience in the university setting.

Benefits & Remuneration
This part-time, fixed-term position attracts remuneration of $73,257 - $81,404 pa (HEW 5) (pro-rata 60%) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
