The Office of Engagement and Advancement will work collaboratively with First Peoples, regional, national and international communities, peer universities, other tertiary education providers, and industry partners to leverage existing innovations and programs across the University and within our communities. This includes but is not limited to Western's Alpha Platform, The Academy, Western Sydney Creative, True Reward, Widening Participation, Philanthropy and Community Engagement.

The Office will ensure the University's transformation into an engaged campus network will be pursued in aid of the communities we serve, and the economic, social and environmental wellbeing of Greater Western Sydney.

The Office of Engagement & Advancement is now seeking a Widening Participation Engagement Project Support Officer to assist in the implementation of widening participation access programs for primary school students aimed at raising aspirations for higher education.  The Widening Participation Engagement Project Support Officer prepares and monitors work plans, organises and runs program-related events, presentations and activities, liaises with internal and external stakeholders, gathers and compiles program and participant data, event and recruitment registrations, researches best practice and innovative approaches, and writes reports and briefings.

It is a mandatory requirement for any incumbent of this position to have a current NSW Employee Working with Children Clearance in accordance with the NSW Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012.

This is a full-time, fixed term role to 31 March 2023 based at the Hawkesbury campus.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 5 $87,744 to $99,381 p.a. (comprising Salary of $74,145 to $83,978 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
