About the Role

We are seeking to appoint an Administrative Assistant, Centre for Western Sydney.

The Administrative Assistant supports the Manager, Centre for Western Sydney and works in collaboration with the Centre’s Director and research staff to ensure the efficient operation of the Centre, by providing day-to-day finance and administrative support.

The position provides specialised research-related support such as designing and maintaining various research databases, assisting in dissemination and publication activities, and organising research materials as well as activities. The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in supporting Centre events and meetings, along with creating and disseminating communications content of the Centre for Western Sydney (digital, print etc.).

To be successful in the role, you have Completion of Certificate or Diploma level qualification or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training in an administrative role, excellent written communication skills, including the ability to prepare and deliver professional presentations and event material and well-developed problem-solving skills with the proven ability to exercise initiative

This position is based at the Parramatta South campus, although travel to other campuses of the University may be required.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 4 $81,282 to $86,609 p.a. (comprising Salary of $68,684 to $73,186 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
