Western Sydney University Research, Enterprise and International Division is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Industry Partnerships Advisor, Health and Medicine. This role will promote Western’s research and commercial consultancy activities, establishing external linkages, identifying partnership opportunities and matching appropriate resources to deliver on projects and initiatives.

The Enterprise team performs critical project and relationship management functions, including leading negotiations with respect to project finances, intellectual property and other contractual matters. This role will be expected to offer best-practice support to internal and external stakeholders throughout the project life cycle. The role will provide a broad range of support for academic staff in health and medical related disciplines to partner with business, government and the community. The role will require that strategic business development targets relevant to each group are identified and productive partnerships established.

This is a full-time, ongoing position based at the Parramatta South campus, although travel to other campuses of the University may be required. There is a degree of flexibility to allow the candidate to be temporarily or permanently stationed at another campus if leading to more productive outcomes. In the current health circumstances, it is possible that the candidate may start employment in a work-from-home setting. The University will offer full support, nevertheless, it is important for prospective candidates to be comfortable with such an arrangement.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 8 $120,879 to $134,189 p.a. (comprising Salary of $102,144 to $113,391 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading).
