About the Role
The Western Sydney International team are seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to join the team!
The Compliance Officer (ESOS - Education Services for Overseas Students) is responsible for managing compliance with legislation, policy, process and other regulatory requirements. The Compliance Officer will work closely with staff from Schools and key administrative units to identify students who are required to have the ESOS rules applied to their records as specified by the ESOS legislative Framework.

The role is required to conduct assessment and review of policies and procedures, implementing change where required to effectively manage ESOS compliance and PRISMS reporting for international students. The successful applicant will advise staff across the University on impacts of ESOS compliance policy and regulation within their functional areas and on University operations as a whole. As required the role will develop and implement training, briefings and workshops for Schools and administrative units on key policy and ESOS compliance.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position until 31 July 2026 based at Western’s Parramatta South Campus, although travel to other campuses of the University may be required. Please review the position description for further information.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 6 $107,358 to $115,073 p.a. (comprising Salary of $90,719 to $97,238 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
