About the Division of Finance and Chief Financial Officer
The Division of Finance and Chief Financial Officer is responsible for providing expert financial, procurement and policy advice to the Vice-Chancellor, Board of Trustees and University management, delivering effective and efficient services through the functions of Financial Performance and Partnerships, Financial Accounting, Financial Services, Procurement and Treasury.

About the Role
The Office of Procurement Services is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join the team on a secondment basis until 5 August 2024.

The Procurement Specialist provides procurement expertise and assists stakeholders to plan, develop, source and manage procurement arrangements to effectively meet organisational and business objectives.

The Procurement Specialist will lead and manage end-to-end strategic procurement process to deliver value for money outcomes for procurement of allocated, materials and services for the assigned business unit.

This is a full-time, fixed-term secondment opportunity until 5 August 2024 based at Western’s Hawkesbury Campus. Flexible work arrangements are available, allowing the successful candidate to work from home for two days a week, work on-site at the Hawkesbury Campus one day per week, while the remaining two days will be embedded into the various campuses.

Remuneration Package:  HEW Level 6 $107,358 to $115,073 p.a. (comprising Salary of $90,719 to $97,238 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
