The School of Science is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Work Integrated Learning and Industry Liaison Officer

About the role
The primary responsibility for this position is to provide high-level support towards Work Integrated Learning (WIL) and Industry liaison in a multi-disciplinary environment. The position will undertake a range of functions and duties to assist in establishing industry links; the placement of students for industry experience; and managing WIL activity including internships and placements across various programs and subjects within science disciplines.

The position will work closely with students, Directors of Academic Program (DAPs), Academic Program Advisors (APAs), academic and professional staff, as well as liaise with agents and industry to support students in gaining meaningful Work Integrated Learning experiences.  

The Work Integrated Learning and Industry Liaison Officer will also ensure record and database maintenance, reporting activities are undertaken and that all activities are compliant with guidelines and policies.

Skills and Experiences
The successful candidate can evidence:

  • experience in the development and maintenance of industry connections to support higher education
  • demonstrated competency in the management of relational databases and systems, and high level analytical, problem solving, organisational and time management skills

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 6 $107,358 to $115,073 p.a. (comprising Salary of $90,719 to $97,238 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
