About the Office of Student and University Planning
The Education and Academic Program Services Team within the Office of Student and University Planning provides services to Schools and partners on a range of curriculum management activities including Learning Guide development and production, facilitating subject curriculum data changes, maintaining assessment data integrity in Western systems, and providing high-level administrative support to Directors of Academic Programs (DAPs).

About the Role
The Office of Student and University Planning is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as an Education&AcademicProgramServicesAssistant!

The Education and Program Support Assistant will contribute to administrative activities that support academic teaching staff in the development and delivery of courses and units. These activities include document support for business case development for new Programs and subjects, updating existing documentation (such as learning guides or program outlines) under instruction from stakeholders, and running course mapping reports and ensuring data is well maintained.

The role will also work alongside Education and Program Support Officers, Course Quality Officers, Curriculum Advisors and other key stakeholders to update information and documentation arising from curriculum design and how it is intended to be delivered in alignment with tertiary quality frameworks and internal policies. 

This is a full-time, fixed-term position based at Westerns Penrith (Kingswood) Campus, although travel to other campuses of the University may be required. Please review the position description for further information.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • A relevant qualification or equivalent professional training and experience in a complex environment, and;
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with others effectively, and;
  • Demonstrated effective organisational skills and time management skills including the ability to prioritise, monitor workflows and meet deadlines.

Remuneration Package:  HEW Level 4 $87,412 to $93,061 p.a. (comprising Salary of $73,864 to $78,638 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
