  • $100,032 to $108,979 + 17% superannuation 

  • Full time, fixed-term contract until March 2025

About the opportunity

As the Proposal Assurance & Submission Officer, you will manage the proposal submission administrative services and offer operational support for the Pre-Award team.

You will be leading support for funding proposals and submissions for allocated schemes and providing guidance and escalation support to Proposal Assurance & Submission Administrators.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • work in the Pipeline and Pre-Award team, reporting to the Manager, Proposal Assurance & Submissions

  • lead the administration submission requirements for allocated schemes by ensuring funding proposal and submission are compliant and meet quality assurance expectations

  • maintain an accurate and systematic database of funding proposals and submissions

  • understand the complexities of the submissions environment and provide insights, guidance, and regular reporting to the Pipeline and Pre-Awards Teams

  • comply with funding rules and regulatory requirements

  • contribute to the Research Support Community of Practice through trusted stakeholder management.

Australian Temporary Residents currently employed at the University of Sydney may be considered for a fixed term contract for the length of their visa, depending on the requirements of the hiring area and the position.
