About the opportunity
Our Marketing and Communications unit is striving to deliver on our university’s ambitious marketing strategy. As a result, we are looking for a Marketing Communications Officer, Advancement to execute marketing communications initiatives, strategies, and campaigns in support of alumni and donor objectives. In this role you will develop and distribute strategic content for multiple channels with a strong focus on digital. Utilising your high-level relationship building skills, you will be engaging with key stakeholders to collaborate and deliver marketing plans for the advancement portfolio.
This position would be ideal for a passionate marketing officer with a driven interest in digital marketing. This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and understand the workings of a large complex organisation.
About you
- ability to build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders within a complex organisation
- implementing marketing and communications projects to required timeframe and budget
- experience using a content management system, ideally Adobe suite
- well-developed organisational skills with the capacity to manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail and to meet deadlines
- experience writing and editing targeted communications to meet strategic objectives.
- understanding of Advancement offices in a university and/or experience in a fundraising environment.
