We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join the Pathway to Medicine team at the CQUniversity Bundaberg campus to educate the next generation of doctors. This role involves preparing and delivering lectures and seminars, conducting tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, student field excursions and workshops. There are opportunities to act as a unit coordinator where required, initiating and developing unit material with appropriate advice and support from senior employees, and regularly consulting with students and marking assessments.

Position Requirements

 

  • A relevant postgraduate qualification or equivalent in the discipline area and a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Education (or a willingness to complete one).
  • Demonstrated ability to teach and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate University students with experience engaging with tertiary students and supporting their educational development through multi-modal delivery strategies.
  • Professional experience in a relevant healthcare environment.
  • You will be expected to hold vaccinations in relation to the COVID-19 immunisation should your CQUniversity role require you to attend any setting / venue / event where there is a specific entry requirement for you hold these vaccinations, as per relevant State Government directives.
