Overview
A career defining opportunity exists for an experienced and talented business development expert to apply their skills to the transformational future of Edith Cowan University (ECU). This role will work closely with the Schools of Business and Law, Science and Engineering.
The Development Executive role will suit an individual with a background in business development or sales, being responsible for maximising the potential of fundraising projects. This will be achieved through growing and managing existing corporate, individual and community partnerships, developing and securing new relationships, supporting the delivery of ECU’s events, and building key internal and external relationships. With touchpoints across ECU’s word-class research projects, Schools, and other programs, the role is varied and dynamic, with scope for creativity.
A vital conduit between the University and its community, the role requires an organised, results-driven team player with demonstrated relationship management experience, exceptional communication skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects that involve budget, pipeline and data management are essential skills for this role.
The Office of Development and Alumni Relations is responsible for building the foundations of lifelong relationships between the University’s alumni, business, and the community. The Office comprises of two teams – Alumni Relations and Development.
The Development team maintains relationships with donors and partners to ensure they understand the value and impact of their support. The environment is fast paced, and meaningful. The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic, high energy team as ECU enters an exciting and transformational phase, including the opening of Western Australia’s first comprehensive city university campus.
Benefits & Remuneration
This full-time, Fixed-Term position attracts salary of $90,220 to $101,090 pa (HEW 7) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
