We are seeking an Associate Director Human Resources to play a key leadership role which will determine the establishment and development of a world-class human resource management service for the University in order to attract, grow and retain the best people in a systematic, proactive and coordinated way. What we’ll need to get you started

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

  • Significant depth of experience leading and managing a team to deliver customer-centred people management services, aligned to professional Human Resource Management best practice.
  • Professional qualifications and knowledge across the discipline of Human Resource Management.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence Executive Leaders on strategies to develop the people and the culture of the organisation.
  • Strategic thinker able to operationalise and deliver outcomes for the organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate as required with the business to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Ability to problem solve significant organisational issues to achieve results.
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure customer-centred HR policies and procedures to enable organisational performance.
  • Ability to learn quickly the legislative context of the higher education sector.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and to providing a psychologically healthy and safe workplace.
