The diverse and talented staff in the Centre for Learning and Teaching (CLT) play a central role in achieving ECU's vision, and in designing and implementing future-oriented teaching and learning strategies. With its base at the Joondalup Campus, the CLT delivers a comprehensive suite of services and programmes on campus and online that promotes high quality learning and teaching outcomes for students and academic staff.

The Role
The CLT is seeking an Administration Officer who will be embedded in the Employability and Graduate Outcomes Project. They will be highly organised, demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.  

The role will work across the Employability and Student Transitions and Employability teams to provide administrative support for data capture and entry, with a focus on Salesforce and Excel spreadsheets.  Answering emails and phone calls, supporting meetings and events, including room bookings and takings accurate notes are key aspects of the role.  The successful candidate will also have experience with digital publishing and communication platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Sharepoint, including the creation, editing and management of web content.

Selection Criteria
Suitable candidates will meet the following selection criteria.

Key criteria

  • Demonstrated data entry experience using CRMs (such as Saleforce, PeopleSoft, RightNow) and Excel;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills when answering phone or email queries from internal or external stakeholders;
  • Ability to arrange meetings, manage calendars, make room bookings, manage agendas take notes and other functions to support the work of the Employability Team and associated stakeholders;
  • Demonstrated experience in using Microsoft Sharepoint, Teams, Excel and Word for content management, reporting and dissemination; and
  • Experience in querying corporate data systems, such as student management and cloud based systems.

  • Qualifications

    Completion of Year 12 with subsequent experience or equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation.

    Benefits & Remuneration
    This full time, ongoing position attracts remuneration of $78,854 to $87,624 per annum plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
