Retail Assistant (Student)

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for students at the University of Nottingham to join our student staff team within the Students’ Union retail outlets to work across our four stores: 

  • SPAR Portland (Portland Building, University Park) 
  • SPAR Jubilee (The Exchange, Jubilee Campus)
  • Portland Clothing Co. (Portland Building, University Park)
  • Portland Zero (Portland Building, University Park)

This role is heavily customer service orientated.  You will be expected to work to high standards and observe departmental procedures at all times. 

The ideal candidates will have experience in a customer-facing role, preferably from a retail background. You will also be able to work as part of a large team within a fast-paced environment, be positive, reliable, well-motivated and able to deliver excellent customer service. 

Full training will be given to the successful candidates.

Hourly rate: £9.90 plus holiday pay calculated at 12.07%
