A postdoctoral position is opening in the Department of Chemistry within the Delley research group at the University of Basel (https://delley.chemie.unibas.ch/en/ ).


Your position
The position starts as soon as 1.11.2021 or upon agreement. The position is for one year and may be extended further. The focus of the research project are interfacial electric fields of inorganic materials. The project is highly interdisciplinary and includes electrochemistry and in situ spectroscopy, in particular surface-enhanced infrared absorption spectroscopy, and the preparation and study of inorganic materials. Your profile
Candidates must be highly motivated, should have obtained both a PhD and a Master degree in electrochemistry, chemistry, or material science, and bring a solid chemical background. Experience in electrochemistry, spectroscopy, and experimental inorganic chemistry and synthesis are of advantage. Team spirit and perseverance are expected.
