We are seeking a highly motivated postdoc to join our growing team at the Department of Biomedicine (DBM) in Basel, Switzerland. This ERC-funded project explores alternative approaches to conventional "bone marrow transplantation". We use genome engineered hematopoietic stem cells (HSC) to increase safety and efficacy of HSC transplants. The successful candidate will be a key member of the team that establishes and works with humanized mouse models to investigate genome engineered human HSCs in vivo. An established, highly interactive collaboration with a biotech startup will allow us to translate our research to clinical products.
