The research of the Chair for Financial Accounting at the Department of Business Administration focuses on empirical research with an emphasis on disclosure decisions of companies and on corporate governance structures.
Your responsibilities
Applicants for this PhD position should have a strong interest in these topics of the chair and ideally possess a background in these fields (accounting, corporate finance, economics). The position also involves teaching and research assistance. To this end, a fluent command of the German language is an advantage but not necessary.
Your profile
Applicants should hold an excellent master's degree specializing in accounting, economics or finance. In addition, the position requires advanced writing and communication skills in English. Applicants should submit the following documents:

  • Writing sample if available (e.g. Master's thesis)
