Applicants should hold a MSc degree (or equivalent) in environmental sciences, environmental engineering, biology, meteorology, physics, or similar.
Excellent coding skills (e.g. Python, R, Matlab) and experience in computational methods and numerical analysis are required.
Background or research experience in one of the following fields would be an advantage: plant ecophysiology, ecology, micrometeorology or urban climatology.
Excellent command of English, oral and written, is required. Basic German is an advantage.
This is a team research effort – it is expected that the applicant is willing and able to work within an international research environment, participate in field campaigns, be creative, communicate, think critically and share her/his work and skills.
The applicant will be potentially required to drive a car to assist in field campaigns. Therefore, a driving license and willingness to drive are also advantages.
