Offer Description

The Catholic University San Antonio of Murcia is looking for candidates interested in research, to carry out with us the Doctoral Thesis being an active participant in our projects.

The international doctoral thesis in the field of oncology will be developed. The PhD will follow the line of research "Development of new macrophages with chimeric antigen receptor against surface markers in triple-negative breast cancer" led by Prof. Ginés Luengo Gil. Specifically, the main work will focus on the Efficacy Analysis of CAR macrophages with sustained M1 phenotype in triple-negative breast cancer.
The main tasks would be:
*UCAM pre-doctoral training assistance, congress, training seminars and collaboration with other colleagues in the scientific field.
*Development of in silico, in vitro and in vivo experiments.
*Tissue sampling, processing and analysis of results.
*Publication in scientific journals.
*Pre-doctoral study abroad for international recognition.

The research activities will be carried out in the Genetic Research Group, Molecular Pathology and Rare Diseases, located in UCAM HiTech, Sport & Health Innovation Hub, Avda. Andrés Hernández Ros 1, Guadalupe de Maciascoque, 31107, Murcia, Spain.

Candidates must have:
- Degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology.
- Master in Experimental Animal Biology and Immunology.
- Experience in management of colorectal cancer organoids.
- Attach publications and/or master’s theses related to previous experience.
- Advanced level of English (B/6). Attach your certification.
- Experience in handling animal models (avian embryo).
- High impact factor publications according to JCR (Q1) metrics are not mandatory but an asset, if participation has been as first author, citation, corresponding author.
- Experience as a research assistant for at least 1 year is not mandatory, but an asset.
