Relevant projects may focus on how technological innovation contributes to inclusion and exclusion in youth sports, how such technologies challenge and maintain gender inequality, economic inequality, or other forms of digital divides. Other relevant issues may include how sports technology and social media influence young athletes' embodiment and understanding of performance, or digitization and innovative youth sporting activities (e.g. esports, virtual sports).
