The Institute for Theoretical Physics at the Georg-August Universität Göttingen invites applications for a

PhD Position (f/m/d)

(Salary group 13 TV-L, at least 66,6 %, i.e. 26.27 h/week)

The position is available in the research group of Prof. Dr. Matthias Krüger and is limited to three years. The project deals with Fluctuation induced Forces for Non-reciprocal Systems: From Fundamentals to Propulsion and Levitation.

You have completed your scientific university studies with a master’s degree in the field of physics, with above-average grades and ideally have very good knowledge in statistical physics, and, as a plus, knowledge in electrodynamics, non-equilibrium physics, quantum field theory, condensed matter theory or numerical methods.
