Postdoc Position(s), Fine Grained Multimodal Analysis

The Department of Computer Science (DIKU) at the University of Copenhagen has an open research position in the domain of fine grained analysis of images, video, and/or audio, initially with a focus on self-supervised learning and domain transfer. The postdoc will be located at the University of Copenhagen Department of Computer Science - DIKU, which is part of the Copenhagen ELLIS  unit. The research will be conducted in collaboration with the Pioneer Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Visipedia.

The postdoc’s duties will include engagement with experts in domains including biodiversity, medicine, design, and journalism, and participation in Visipedia-led community efforts including the Fine Grained Visual Categorization (FGVC) workshop.

The position requires a solid background in computer vision and machine learning. Knowledge in human computation and crowdsourcing is a plus. Successful candidates must have demonstrated their ability to publish in top tier venues including CVPR, ICCV, NeurIPS, and ICLR.

Terms of employment
The position is covered by the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff. Terms of appointment and payment accord to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State.
