Two vacant fulltime postdoctoral researcher positions

The research group of the Brussels University Consultation Center (BRUCC-VUB) is seeking two fulltime postdoctoral researchers for a one year postdoctoral position in the field of Efficacy and Effectiveness of Psychological Treatments. In September 2022, the BRUCC research group was established, in which 27 researchers (including 14 ZAP, from VUB and UZ Jette) collaborate in research lines regarding the development and evaluation of psychological assessment and interventions.

As a new research group, we are pleased to announce the vacancies below, in which we are looking for 2 full-time Post DOCs for a 12-month contract (starting September 1, 2022).

2 x 1 FTE for 12 months (September 1st)


Profile: Holder of PhD degree, with a passion for practice-relevant research in the field of clinical psychology.


Research: The candidate to be recruited will have a focus on practice-relevant research in function of diagnostics/interventions in the domain of clinical psychology. The candidate's research has a clear clinical finality in order to contribute to clinical practice. The candidate supports and coordinates ongoing research lines of the BRUCC research group and future research that focuses on the development and/or evaluation of clinical interventions.


Possible (transdiagnostic) lines of research are (non-exhaustive):

-effectiveness of emotion regulation training

-development/evaluation of online e-treatment (such as social skills training)

-development of EMA (ecological momentary assessment) applications

-development/evaluation of VR interventions

-effectiveness of cognitive training

-effectiveness of non-invasive brain stimulation


Assignment:

The candidate will actively seek collaborations and synergies within the BRUCC research group. The candidate, in collaboration with BRUCC members, supports the submission of a minimum of 2 (inter)national project applications/year.

-He/she creates external visibility for the department, faculty and/or the university

-Team player

-Is skilled in stimulating collaborations

-Self-sufficient and stress resistant

-Skilled in writing project applications

-Experience in clinical practice is a plus
