Postdoctoral position in the area of artificial intelligence

We offer a contract of 1 year (with possibilities for extension) for a postdoctoral position in an intellectually challenging environment. The position can be full-time or part-time, depending on the candidate’s preference.
Also the starting date is flexible. You will be affiliated with KU Leuven campuses in Kortrijk and/or Bruges.
KU Leuven is well equipped to welcome foreign researchers and their family and provides practical support with regard to immigration and administration, housing, childcare, learning Dutch, partner career coaching, etc.

The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic researcher with a PhD degree in the area of Artificial Intelligence/Data Science. Applicants should have a strong track record in this research domain, evidenced by publications and/or by research experience in industry. International experience is an advantage. We are looking for a postdoc who possesses organizational skills and a cooperative attitude. A good command of English is required (C1 level or higher, with both oral and written communication skills), as the new programmes are taught entirely in English.
