Offer Description
This unique opportunity involves research in decision-making, decision confidence and their interactions with reinforcement learning. The student will be involved in designing novel experimental paradigms, developing (reinforcement learning) computational models to fit the empirical data, and potentially collect and analyze M/EEG data. Envisioned start data is September 2024, but flexible.

We offer a fully funded 4 year PhD position in the lab of Prof. Kobe Desender at the KU Leuven (Belgium).
Eligibility criteria
Candidates are expected to hold a Master’s in experimental psychology, cognitive neuroscience, computer science, or related fields. Prior experience with computational modeling, or data analysis is advantageous.We highly encourage applications from women and underrepresented groups. Support is available for researchers with families. Eligibility requires adherence to the Marie Curie Actions mobility rule, which holds that they have spent no more than 12 months of the past 3 years in Belgium. Financial assistance for relocation to Belgium is provided
