Job description
Vacancy: Researcher in the domain of Operations Research
The ISyE (Industrial Systems Engineering) research group is active in the domains of Smart Manufacturing Systems Design & Management, Supply Networks Engineering and Logistics, and Smart Mobility and Smart Cities. One of the research lines in the group is smart instead of random selection of components to be assembled, called smart component matching or selective assembly. The researcher will conduct academic research on this research line in preparation of a doctoral dissertation.
Job profile
We are looking for enthusiastic candidates to perform research in the domain above in both national and international projects. This position is open for candidates holding a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science Engineering, Mathematical Informatics, Business Engineering, or equivalent. Candidates with background in operations research, systems engineering, quality engineering, control and optimization or in a closely related domain are strongly encouraged to apply.
