Offer Description

We envision applications based on the Internet of Things (IoT) where systems rely on harvesting energy from the environment.

Your mission will be to research and develop a scheduler, i.e. a software solution that takes the forecasts of energy availabilty into accout to schedule the tasks that a Ultra Low-Power (ULP) microcontroller (MCU) has to achieve.

You will work at the leading edge of the tech industry. The issues you will address are at the forefront of the present-day concerns, and the software you will design is expected to be eventually released for production.

Requirements
Specific Requirements

• You hold a Master degree in Computer Science, or in a related discipline, that opens

access to the doctoral school in the field of computer science;

• You have a deep interest for the lowest abstraction layers, the hardware interfaces,

and the communication protocols;

• A previous experience with microcontrollers/microprocessors (ARM architectures) is

considered as an asset;

• You are fluent in C/C++ and you perfectly understand the Assembly language ;

• Knowledge of the CMSIS standard is a plus;

• You are fluent in English (French is a plus);

• You are able to work autonomously within a team;

• You are a passionate and committed person;

• You are quality minded;

• You easily communicate and share your ideas with others, you are able to adapt your

language and to popularize complex concepts;

• You are sensitized to energy impacts of the IoT and IIoT sectors.
