The Research group Henry van de Velde in the Faculty of Design Sciences is looking for a full-time (100%) doctoral scholarship holder who would like to work on improving spatial relations between in- and outside environments in care contexts.

Despite the positive impact of interaction with outdoor environments on the physical and mental well-being of end users, healthcare buildings are usually not designed in a way that allows patients, residents, visitors, and staff to fully experience and use the outdoor environment.
