In this position you are expected to perform original research and write a dissertation in a stimulating environment using the university's infrastructure. You will hold your own lectures, tutor students and participate in administration. 50% of the working time is reserved for the thesis. The position is for 20 hours/week and will be changed to 30 hours/week as soon as a dissertation agreement has been submitted. Duration of the position is September 15, 2021 to September 14, 2025. Main tasks: Dissertation in the field of photochemistry and spectroscopy; own teaching; contributions to scientific publications; participation in scientific meetings; administrative tasks; Expected skills: completed diploma or master's degree in physics or chemistry (also master of education); experience with FT-ICR mass spectrometry; experience with laser spectroscopy; experience with molecular beam laser vaporization sources; experience with black-body radiation induced dissociation; ability to work in a team; self management;
