Summary of Duties:
The Student Travel Specialist and Career Ready Assistant will be part of the Murrow Center for Student Success. The specialist will coordinate the administrative duties for all international and domestic travel for Murrow undergraduate and graduate students . They will also assist Murrow faculty in the development of faculty led programs abroad or domestically.
The Student Travel Specialist and Career Ready Assistant will assist the Career Ready Program Manager with program tracking and file maintenance; assist with the annual Murrow Symposium student involvement and attendance tracking; collect data for program improvement; and create content for newsletters.
Required Qualifications:
High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of full-time clerical experience OR equivalent education/experience.
Additional Requirements:
Customer service experience.
Demonstrated computer skills and competency with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and Outlook, including calendaring meetings.
Demonstrated experience working in a confidential setting and with confidential materials.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Ability to work with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in an educational or professional environment.
