Offer Description

The research activity aims to evaluate through an energy audit cooling, heating and electric load of university buildings used to host offices and classrooms. The data acquired during the energy audit will be used to realize a model based on building envelop and energy conversion systems. The model will be calibrated and validated by dynamic simulation software (TRNSYS, ...). Through this model, various scenarios related to interventions on the envelope or on the energy conversion systems present in the building will be analyzed. Particular attention will be paid to the introduction of high efficiency energy conversion systems powered by fossil fuels and system powered by renewable sources. The comparison between the reference scenario and the scenarios characterized by interventions will be carried out through an energy, economic and environmental impact analysis.

Admission requirement: Bachelor's degree (DL) of the old system based on what is reported in the following table, obtained according to the system prior to the entry into force of the Ministerial Decree of 3 November 1999, n. 509, or Specialist Degree as reported in the following table, obtained pursuant to Ministerial Decree 3 November 1999, n. 509 and subsequent amendments and additions, or Master's Degree as reported in the following table and obtained pursuant to Ministerial Decree 22 October 2004, n. 270 and subsequent amendments and additions, or in possession of an equivalent qualification obtained abroad or declared as such by law, together with the possession of a scientific-professional curriculum suitable for carrying out research activities.
