Summary of Duties:

Performs complex technical fiscal analysis and financial reporting including analysis, planning, interpreting, and review of departmental budgets. Oversight of all travel including CTA, Travel expense vouchers, flight reservations, conference reservations and cash advances. Responsible for departmental purchasing, temporary employment management and scholarship processing.

Required Qualifications:

  • Two years of experience at a level equivalent to Fiscal Specialist 1 AND 15 quarter hours OR 10 semester hours of college level accounting; OR equivalent education/experience.

  • Experience with Microsoft software including Word, Excel and Outlook. 

  • Experience working with a database system.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with WSU service center processing and billing. 

  • Experience with the university financial systems 

  • Experience with payroll processing 

  • Experience with budget reconciliation and analysis 

  • Experience with travel processing 

  • Experience University record retention requirements.
