Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Visiting Researcher for the department of Neurosurgery at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey invites applications for a Visiting Researcher position at the Neurosurgery Department, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Among the key duties of this position are the following:
  • Participate in laboratory research focused on investigating adenosine’s role in epilepsy.
  • Conduct experiments to test the impact of deep brain stimulation (DBS) on adenosine concentrations in mouse models.
  • Use GRABADO sensors to track adenosine fluctuations during DBS procedures.
  • Assist in neurosurgical procedures for implanting DBS electrodes in mice.
  • Utilize fiber photometry to analyze neural activity responses to DBS.
