We are seeking a Transcript Analyst who will be responsible for examining, evaluating, and entering student academic records to determine Admission eligibility, as well as assisting with other undergraduate processing and answering admissions-related inquiries from prospective students, parents, and the academic departments. We envision our ideal individual will have a competency in communication skills, organizational skills, function well in a challenging environment, and be able to work effectively on projects independently. What you need to know  


Salary : $15.00 an Hour.(Compensation will be commensurate to selected hire's experience)

Required Education and Experience: 


  • Associate Degree, or any equivalent combination of education and experience. 

  • Two years of experience in general office or clerical type work .


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 


  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. 

  • Ability to organize work effectively, prioritize objectives and manage time with a high level of discretion and independent judgement.

  • Must have good interpersonal skills and work cooperatively with others. 

  • Excellent written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills. 

  • Ability to work overtime as volume demands . 

  • Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.  

  • Ability to work independently once given a project. 


 


Preferred Education and Experience: 


  • Bachelor's degree. 

  • 6 months of experience in college admissions, records, or departmental advising. 


Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 


  • Working knowledge of Banner and the college credit system


Responsibilities: 


  • Processing - Examines, evaluates, and enters student academic records to determine Admission eligibility using the Document Imaging Workflow System (DIWS) and the student information system. Prepares admission-related documents for review.  

  • Administrative - Works cooperatively and jointly with Admissions Processing staff to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and provide quality seamless customer service.

  • Special Projects As assigned by supervisor .

  • Customer Service Answer general office emails, assist with walk-in traffic and telephone inquiries from prospective students, their parents, etc regarding a variety of admissions-related issues. Assists advisors/counselors with review of admissions applications.
