Position Summary

The Center for Development and Disability (CDD), established in 1990, is New Mexico's University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service. These centers, authorized by the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act, build the capacities of states and communities to respond to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. 

The individual hired for this position will be working with a dynamic team of professionals who are part of the Early Childhood Learning Network Division (ECLN) at the CDD. ECLN provides interdisciplinary training and individualized coaching and consultation statewide to a variety early childhood programs and practitioners that provide services for young children pre-natal to age five and their families through Early Intervention and Home Visiting. 

We are looking for a Training Support Analyst who has the ability to work with a diverse staff that have various learning styles and who come from varying education and discipline backgrounds.  This individual needs to be highly proficient in learning management systems to support ongoing training events as well as the administration of online training and coaching platforms. ECLN’s coaching and consultation work scopes drive year-round events that take many forms – large statewide conferences, regional and on-site trainings, day-long meetings, webinars, online trainings, and other events utilizing distance technology for participation. This individual will assist consultation staff in the development of on-line training and supporting resources. This individual will work with program managers to plan and coordinate events and meetings and will support managers in meeting their contracted scope of work activities.

The Training Support Analyst will be the lead administrator of: Moodle, Articulate, Learning Stream and Survey Monkey, National Information and Reporting System (our online coaching platforms). Responsibilities will include providing technical support to all users, including: adding and deleting users, managing the exemplar library, and data collection. A strong applicant should have experience with learning management systems and other online platforms. In addition to technical ability, the Training Support Analyst must have clear oral and written communication skills, as they will need to explain procedural tasks to users with diverse skill levels. Additional responsibilities: Coordinate creation of all graphic, electronic and printed event materials including but not limited to: reports, guidance documents, invitations, notices, brochures, posters, newsletters, programs, handouts, certificates, and nametags.  Assist in training and resource development. Responsible for proofreading and reviewing content and format and for directing publication and printing. Coordinate with program managers to plan meetings and support manager efforts to meet contracted scope of work activities.

Excellent collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) are a must. Experience providing top-notch learning management systems support and document production, flexibility, customer-service, continuous quality improvement.   The ability to be flexible with shifting priorities is essential for this position.  Occasional travel required to set up events.

Conditions of Employment
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with

  • supporting, analyzing, interpreting and executing learning management systems; 
  • supporting management in the planning and coordination of events/meetings and assisting management to meet their contracted scope of work activities; 
  • design software and online marketing tools: Marq, Articulate 360, Adobe Acrobat. 

Advanced level working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word and experience with document production and training development for end users. 

Exceptional customer service skills.

Ability to communicate effectively and clearly, both orally and in writing. 

Familiar with branding and purchasing protocols.
