Tenure-Track Assistant Professor, Department of Economics

The Department of Economics at the University of St. Thomas (Twin Cities, Minnesota) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor, Department of Economics.

 

This position involves teaching undergraduate courses in principles of macroeconomics, macroeconomic theory, forecasting, and other undergraduate courses in candidate's area(s) of interest. The typical teaching load is 3 courses (2 preparations) per semester in a small class setting. Maintain an active research agenda in area of expertise. Provide service to the Department, College and University. This is a full-time position with the University of St. Thomas in the Department of Economics in the Twin Cities Metro Area (St. Paul – Minneapolis - Bloomington) Minnesota. EOE.



A Ph.D. (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics or a closely related field. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to high-quality undergraduate instruction (including engaging students in research) and a productive research agenda.
