Job Description:
Provide assistance to the TRIO Educational Opportunity Center with organizing, implementing and holding informational sessions as part of outreach efforts to prospective participants for TRIO-EOC. Provide advising services to TRIO-EOC participants.
Positions may be eligible for telework according to the Minneapolis College's telework guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of experience and/or education in Education, Counseling and Student Personnel Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Organizational Management, Liberal Arts.
- Experience working with students who are TRIO eligible, or from diverse ethnic backgrounds, or non-traditional aged students.
- Demonstrated understanding of student development needs.
- Demonstrated understanding of the mission and philosophy of TRIO programs.
- Strong public relations, presentation and interpersonal communication and writing skills.
- Demonstrated self-starter with strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Proficient and efficient at using computer technology including internet and Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrates an ongoing understanding of cultural fluency, incorporates culturally responsive practices, and actively engages in antiracism professional development learning opportunities.

*Salary Range: $22.61- $32.71 per hour / $47,210 – $68,298 annually
