Position Summary
Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), the Technology Analyst provides business process analysis, facilitating process re-engineering that enhances productivity and increases effectiveness across the division and university. The Process Analyst is responsible for working directly with the CTO and senior leadership team to define, operationalize, and manage the adoption of the organizational standards required for the successful management of change, resources, knowledge, constituents, assets, and configurations.
Core responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • Analyze and document current business processes and organizational practices, looking for opportunities for improvement and organizational excellence.
  • Gather, analyze, map, and define requirements for efficiencies and improvements related to data, workflow, logical processes, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks, and controls, and reporting for highly complex projects.
  • Develop test cases of proposed solutions and support testing activities.
  • Lead and participate in planning sessions to implement proposed solutions within client areas.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and or experience.
  • Experience managing complex enterprise projects and working on complex IT projects with technical leadership.
  • Experience providing exceptional customer service.
  • Progressively responsible experience directly related to the position.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex and technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills with the demonstrated ability to manage multiple relationships and projects in a deadline-driven environment, while effectively managing resources to address competing priorities.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and collaboration skills with a strong customer service focus.
  • Proven ability to partner with colleagues across an organization, and view issues from a whole perspective.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a field related to the position duties.
  • Experience with full life-cycle development and the ability to manage a project through the cycle.
  • Knowledge of flow charting and project management techniques and tools
  • Working knowledge of change management processes in technology-related industries.
  • Experience working as a technical team leader or mentor.
  • Experience implementing or working with complex higher education enterprise-wide systems.
