Position Duties
Teaching responsibilities include four courses per semester (4/4 load) in a range of classes, from precalculus through junior level or advanced courses. Service to the department and the university is required.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have at least a masters degree (Ph.D. preferred) in mathematics or mathematics education at the time of the appointment and demonstrate the potential for excellence in teaching at a liberal arts university; willingness and comfort in teaching lower level mathematics courses; commitment to the goals of Jesuit Education and the mission of Loyola University Maryland.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous full time experience in a college/university setting is a plus.
Ph.D. preferred.
