Description of the position

The Engineering Department is hiring a teaching assistant (TA) and grader to assist with ENGR 110: Project and Design I Iterative Design and Empathetic Communication. The TA will work approximately 6 hours per week during the Fall 2023 semester.

The TA will support student projects and in class activities (4 hours a week) and grading homework as needed.  In class expectations include note taking, answering student questions, and supporting students on design activities. 

The class meets Tuesday and Thursdays from 9:55-11:40am.  You must be available during that time. 

Qualifications:

  • Design experience
  • Ideally has taken ENGR 103: Liberatory Design or ENGR 110 
  • Familiarity on Fusion 360, laser cutting, and 3D printing 

Compensation: $18.07/hr
