Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)

Bachelor degree in Information Technology Systems and one year of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in higher education environment preferred, including planning, knowledge of network administration, computer support, database administration, administrative software, web design/management, compliance, information security management and server management;

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Ability to communicate effectively with diverse constituencies across the organization; to sustain first rate IT services and possess the following demonstrated attributes or experience: personal integrity, maturity, consultative, strong mentor, visionary, leader and strategic decision maker, confidentiality, trustworthiness, reliability, and personable; Self-motivated leader within a team-oriented environment, keen attention to detail, excellent communication skills, ability to set and manage priorities judiciously, confidence in public speaking and presentations, effective tactical and organizational skills, superior analytical, evaluation, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to articulate ideas and concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to navigate effectively and diplomatically in an environment that can often be emotionally charged and politically complex
