Position Summary

UNM Athletics seeks to hire Student Managers for the sports of Football, Men’s Basketball, or Women’s Basketball. Duties and responsibilities of Student Manager will include:

  • Performing traditional student managerial duties (i.e. equipment, laundry, hydration, etc.)
  • Participating in limited on-court or on-field activities during practice (required and voluntary) involving student athletes or competition on a regular basis.
  • Manage team equipment, launder team equipment, and inventory team equipment as needed. 
  • Observing and performing administrative duties during practice or competition (e.g., track statistics, run clock).
  • Performing administrative duties outside practice or competition (e.g., attend meetings involving coaching activities, analyze film).
  • Sit on bench and/or sideline
  • Travel with teams to away games. 
  • Successful candidates may be work study eligible.
