Description:

The School of Public Health Manager of Experiential Learning is hiring a student assistant (up to 19 hours a week, work-study preferred but not required) to support a variety of day-to-day tasks such as answering email inquiries, processing MPH practicum paperwork, and assisting with special events and projects. The student is expected to perform a variety of computer tasks using Word and Excel, and is expected to develop professional skills working with different constituents in the school.

Pay rate

$18/hour, up to 19 hours/week

Skills/Eligibility:
  • Excellent communication skills including a friendly and positive demeanor
  • Able and willing to handle detailed work with accuracy and composure
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability and flexibility to work in a team environment
  • Creative and some experience working with editing software a plus
  • Must be able to commit to a full academic year with full-time enrollment
