Physical Requirements
The physical requirements of this position include sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time; repetitive motions; standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 lbs. and lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to or over 50 lbs.; and occasional job-related travel.
Shift
Primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm; some weekends and/or evenings may be required per departmental needs.
Job Summary
UK Healthcare is seeking an ESO Senior Planning Associate to work in the Enterprise Strategy Office. This position works directly with Enterprise Strategy Office Leadership in supporting teams through strategic problem-solving, solution development, and implementation planning and tracking across a range of strategic issues. Providing support to all strategic planning activities related to market positioning, opportunities, and pathways to increased market presence and impacted lives.
Assessing, monitoring, and reporting trends on market share, competitor strategies, and industry trends, with minimal guidance.
Maintaining market analysis and comprehensive planning assessments for enterprise level projects and specialty service programming, with minimal guidance. Establishing and maintaining relationships with service line clinical and administrative leads, marketing, performance services, enterprise data warehouse teams and finance, and will be expected to collaborate with the Strategic Planning Associates, Senior Strategy Consultants and Directors within the office of Enterprise Strategy.
Supports management of the relationships with necessary databases and external consulting groups, coordinating utilization of enterprise wide membership across the organization. Manages smaller initiatives against plans to deliver tangible results and understand, monitor, and report on key project indicators, including financial and schedule metrics.
This position will support the integration of key findings into system level and service line programming across clinical departments as well as the College of Medicine to ensure strategy alignment, including Marketing Development & Community Strategy, the Physician Liaisons, Enterprise Project Management Office, Marketing & Branding, and Finance.
There is an IEBC being considered.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Comfortable completing complex tasks and projects on a tight deadline.
Ability to work with minimal guidance and move priorities forward.
Ability to develop executive-level written and oral computer presentations with minimal guidance using complex information in a precise and graphic format.
Self-directs and self-educates on future external impact factors; appropriately summarizes and shares with the ESO team
Ability to interact with confidence and work efficiently and effectively among. Departments, Service Lines and Enterprise function leaders. Work collaboratively with external consultants.
