Description of Job Duties and Responsibilities
This position will provide support for and work with the Humanities Department staff. The chosen candidate will assist with digital communications including but not limited to producing content for Instagram Facebook Twitter and/or Snapchat. The position requires attending events at differing times during the week and being responsible for photography and videoing during the event. Additional tasks may include writing student and faculty feature stories and profiles sourcing images for the web generating story ideas and creating website content.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Familiarity and experience with the social media platforms utilized by Fairmont State University. 2. Previous experience with photo and video image-editing software. 3. Good communication and writing skills. 4. Ability to work autonomously and manage time well.
